Scot Industries’ Materials Laboratory illustrates our strong commitment to technological development. The Materials Laboratory was established in 1985 to keep pace with the fast-paced innovation of the ferrous metals industry.

The functions of the Materials Laboratory are to provide technical services to our customers, to promote quality assurance of materials, and to continue our long tradition of research and development.

The Materials Laboratory is composed of three separate laboratories that support its engineering activities: the Mechanical Testing Lab, Metallographic Lab, and Chemical Lab.
