In 1981, Scot built a new plant located in Sugar Grove, Illinois, 40 miles west of downtown Chicago.
Two expansions have created a 200,000-square-foot facility on 40 acres of land.
This location provides honing, skiving and roller burnishing, straightening, lathe-type automatic rotary cutoff, sawing, and machining. Warehousing includes unhoned tubing, honed tubing, chrome-plated tubing, anodized aluminum tubing, chrome-plated bar stock and tie rod material.
